Barcelona – Dia Dos

Day two and we made our way all around the city – in a tour bus of course! The day started with a lengthy trip to the beautiful Sagrada Familia, where we exhausted our feet waiting in line then walking around the building. My recommendation, by tickets online before hand. Oops!

Across that street, at La Palmera, we stopped for a quick tapas lunch. Now those Patatas Bravas were up to par! It was from this point that we noticed the sign for the hop-on hop-off tour bus by Barcelona City Tours. They have two lines (orange and green) that take you all over the city for €24 a day.

Here are some of the highlights:

Driving towards Colom

Statue near World Trade Center Barcelona – It’s suppose to look like waves

Estadi Olympic Lluis Companys – The ’92 Olympic Track & Field Stadium

Barcelona Olympic Track – Now overtaken by birds

Camp Nou – Home of FC Barcelona – I’ll be taking in a game in a few days

Fun sign outside of Camp Nou

More Gaudi at La Pedrera – Learned something new that the word “gaudy” comes from Gaudi. Makes sense!

What a great day of site seeing day! After stopping for a cold drink at Starbucks we headed back to the hotel to rest and get ready for dinner. As this post is getting long, check out this post to read more!
